Glide elegantly over the ice with the Dolomites in sight - ice skating can add variety to any ski holiday! The Pranives Ice Rink is about five minutes’ walk from the Charming Hotel Genziana and is open from early December to early April. The neighboring villages also offer opportunities to try out tricks on a pair of skates - at the natural ice skating rink in St. Christina and the skating rink Setil in Ortisei. Ice skating has a long tradition in Val Gardena, continuing until today. For example the figure skating world champion Carolina Kostner comes from Ortisei in Val Gardena.
