Surrounded by the Sella and Saslong mountain groups, Selva is located at the valley-head of Val Gardena. Hardly anywhere else will you find such varied opportunities for hiking than in the Italian Dolomites of South Tyrol and the Puez-Odle Nature Park. The large network of trails provides the right tour for everyone, from comfortable to demanding. Promising routes lead over wide Alpine pastures, past rugged ridges and through forests of spruce and larch. Above the timber line grow Alpine flowers such as edelweiss and rhododendrons. Among the most popular summit destinations are the Plattkofel, the eastern Puez and the Saslong group.
