Cross-country skiing makes twice as much fun with a view of the spectacularly shaped Dolomite peaks. With 55 km of cross-country trails between 1,200 and 2,000 m above sea level, the Val Gardena resort offers more than "just" a great panorama to cross-country skiers: you will find 18 idyllic trails in the original Langental, located about one kilometer northeast of the hotel. At the entrance to the Langental is also the "Nordic Activ Park", a training center for cross-country skiiers and biathletes.
Further trails can be found at the scenic Monte-Pana high plateau at S. Cristina, and on the sunny plateau Alpe di Siusi.
